Coeur’s vision is to build and maintain strong relations with partner communities and local stakeholders, and to contribute to mutual long-term prosperity. It is important to Coeur for stakeholders to experience shared value, collaboration, transparency, confidence and support.
Community Engagement: Each Coeur site has a dedicated community relations lead to oversee efforts. Team members actively engage with their communities, build and maintain relationships, organize community events, support educational and workforce development, offer volunteer and fundraising opportunities, serve on local boards and seek ways to contribute and connect with communities.
Community Investment: Community investment at Coeur aligns with our core values by prioritizing stakeholder-driven initiatives, such as supporting local educational programs, partnering with regional health services and funding environmental conservation efforts. These investments address both short- and long-term regional goals and focus on creating lasting, positive impacts.
Community Feedback: Coeur established a standard Community Grievance Policy to provide accessible and effective means for communities, groups, and stakeholders to raise and resolve external complaints in a fair, timely and proactive manner.

Coeur strives to recognize and respect the interests, values, culture, and histories of the Indigenous Peoples in the areas where we operate. From the start of each mining project, we prioritize consultation with Indigenous communities to integrate their perspectives and needs into our planning and operations. We are committed to maintaining open, transparent communication and fostering long-term, mutually beneficial relationships throughout all stages of the mine lifecycle—exploration, construction, operation, and closure—while being mindful of the land and communities we may impact.
The Company has personnel at the site level who are responsible for Indigenous engagement, including maintaining a system to track and implement commitments and working with the environmental, permitting and procurement teams to achieve outlined objectives. The guiding principles outlined in the Indigenous Peoples Policy are a shared responsibility. All Coeur employees are expected to conduct themselves consistent with the commitments outlined in the Policy.
