Palmarejo’s first Impact cohort recently partnered with the Adolfo Lopez Mateos Elementary School to help revitalize the school’s buildings. The Impact cohort worked together to paint the buildings, provide minor repairs as needed and also install necessary security measures to protect the school from theft. The group also built and donated three bicycles and restored the school’s basketball court, complete with two new hoops for use during recess. Last but not least, the Impact cohort donated a few water tanks to help improve the water quality at the school. These efforts made a direct impact on the students, the teachers and the community.
