MOBILE EQUIPMENT MAINTENANCE PLANNER

Coeur Rochester, Inc., a subsidiary of Coeur d’Alene Mines Corporation, is seeking a Mobile Equipment Maintenance Planner for its surface mine/heap leach operations east of Lovelock Nevada. The position will be primarily responsible for providing the highest machine availability and performance for the lowest cost through the planning and scheduling of all work in the maintenance area.  The Mobile Equipment Maintenance Planner is responsible for improving the pit maintenance, insuring safety and good housekeeping, and implementing maintenance plans which utilize predictive and preventative maintenance procedures. Additionally the Mobile Equipment Maintenance Planner will focus on preparing and reviewing monthly equipment contracts with vendors to ensure warranties, costs, and availability are consistently maintained at the maximum benefit for the company. 

Qualified candidates will have ten years experience with heavy equipment mechanics, strong knowledge of heavy mobile equipment maintenance and planning procedures. Must have strong knowledge of power train, hydraulic and electrical systems. Must have strong computer skills with maintenance software.  Must have knowledge of planning methods, maintenance practices and procedures, and analytical skills for evaluations concerning equipment and component studies.
