Coeur d’Alene Mines Corporation is the world’s largest, U.S.-based publicly traded silver producer, as well as a significant gold producer. In 2008, the Company expects to produce 13 million ounces of silver, and 24 million ounces in 2009. Our new San Bartolome mine in Bolivia, the world’s largest pure silver mine, began production in June, and construction is well underway at another world-class silver mine – Palmarejo in Mexico, which will add to Company silver and gold production beginning next year.
