Coeur Rochester, Inc., a subsidiary of Coeur d’Alene Mines Corporation, is seeking an Electrical Superintendent for its surface heap leach operations east of Lovelock Nevada.  The position will be primarily responsible for the management, supervision, and direct day to day activities of electrical maintenance and installation of all mine equipment, buildings and related facilities.  This includes safety and development of subordinates, long range planning, annual budgets, environmental activities and special projects. 

Qualified candidates will have technical training and a minimum of 5 years experience in a supervisory role in repair and electrical maintenance of heavy equipment.  Must possess an extensive knowledge of AC and DC theory with the ability to construct and work from blueprints and schematics.  Must have a working knowledge of the National Electrical Code, and M.S.H.A. regulations.  Experience with Programmable Logic Controller and conventional ladder logic for motor and systems control is required.  An extensive background in high-voltage system design, associated safety issues, construction and repair is also required.   

Additional requirements include excellent skills in organization, presentation, written and verbal communications.
